What is a normal mainboard temperature?
I noticed my mainboard in idle mode is mostly around 55-60C, but in some extreme cases in can go to 75-80C, is this normal?
The chipset is an Intel P35, and the strange thing is even though the motherboard has a high temperature, the CPU won't go higher then 45C in any case, while the motherboard...
P.S. This is a desktop computer, not a laptop...
hey man, get some fans NOW! if it keeps running in high temps your going fry something. Or get a better pc case with more fans in it already. I have the NZXT Lexa Aluminum Computer Gaming Mid-Tower ATX Case.
It comes with a 120mm fan in back, and 80mmm fan on top, and a 120mm in front for hard drive. There is even an option to instal one in the bottom.
