How do I unlock an iPhone 3Gs with the latest OS and no cell service?
I have an iPhone 3GS with the latest OS software and I ported my cell number to another company. Now I'm trying to unlock it with no service, and I have no idea what to do. I tried Blackra!n, but it didn't work. How do I fix it, downgrade the OS, etc? Basically, How do I unlock the phone without paying for anything?
I don't know what the first poster is saying about your iPod, but ignore it - it wont help your iPhone. LOL.
Answernode.com has got free open source software up for Mac and Windows to unlock the iPhone - along with a guide. I've used it before and will again when the next iPhone is out.
