Car's Accessory power has only 1 prong on the outlet - where do I put the negative wire?
So I have a 1996 honda civic. on the fuse box there are some accessory outlets where you need a special plug (that is not buyable) So, I need to just hook a wire up to it, but there is only 1 prong! Where do I put the negative wire?? The fan that I want to have as an accessory has a negative wire... do I just connect it to the chassis of the car?
yes i would just ground it to the nearest piece of metal outside the box, like a bolt or nut or something, and just try the fan, it wont hurt anything.
