When using the VIOP service from provider Sip-phone how does the Softphone option work?
As you do not need an adapter does this mean you plug your phone directly into the computer?? Also, can you tell me if the call quality is as good as on other ( adapter ) voip connections? The Sip-phone website is not very clear on this.
The phone needs to be connected to the PC and the software needs to be installed. Not all service providers support this at the moment. You might need to check with them. The call quality is good provided you have a good headset and you are not planning to share or use this over the network.
