Xerox faxcentre f110: check printer 02?
Xerox Faxcentre F110 , is giving us a message saying Check Printer: 02 Reset Device
After troubleshooting on the Xerox Website it said to just unplug it, wait 30 seconds and plug it back in, however this hasnt been working, we kept it off for a night and nothing changed.
If you have any other ideas please let me know, or maybe its just done
According to the Service Manual, that error means the printer thinks the fuser temperature is too low. The manual says it could be a bad cable, cable connection, or a bent or bad thermister, but it could be a bad fuser that is no longer able to heat up. Powering it off & back on is in the hope that it was just a glitch that might fix itself.
Unfortunately that's the best I can tell you since I can't include pictures or diagrams of where to look and what to look for. You'd probably have to get a qualified tech to look at it, or it might be cheaper to just buy a new printer.
